Puissance (D/PWR/SPH)	Power is the strenght of your contact lens, and is a number between -25 and +25 (e.g. -1.50 or -1,75 or +1.00 or +2.50, etc.) Power is also called ”Pwr”, ”D”(diopters), ”Strenght” or ”SPH” (sphere) in the prescription or on the contact lens box. In your prescription, ”OS” = Your left eye and ”OD” = Your right eye. OU = Both eyes (your eyes have exactly the same parameter) --> If you are nearsighted (can see only near objects well) then select MINUS powers. --> If you are farsighted (can see only distant objects well) then select PLUS powers. Note, the power of the contact lenses is generally not the same power as in your eyeglass prescription.
Courbure (BC)	Base Curve (a number between 8.0 and 10.0). This is the inside curve of your contact lens (e.g., 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, etc.). Base Curve is often written as ”BC” or ”BOZR” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Many contact lenses come in only one base curve, many others in only two base curves, some come in multiple base curves so care must be taken when ordering. If your box or prescription says MEDIAN instead of a number for base curve choose 8.5, 8.6 or 8.7 only.

PureVision is a monthly (daily, or continuous wear) disposable contact lens with an enhanced optical design that creates crisp, sharp vision beyond what you are likely used to – especially at night and in low light conditions.

PureVision is also the first family of silicone hydrogel lenses made of AerGel - a unique material designed to deliver extraordinary comfort and health.

In addition to providing exceptional comfort and health benefits, the PureVision soft contact lens is designed to reduce spherical aberration, that affects visual quality in low-light conditions (objects appear blurred or hazy). Spherical aberration is a natural occurence, in which light rays are refracted at different angles as they enter your eyes. It remains, even after basic vision conditions like near-sightedness have been corrected.
Researchers estimate that nearly 70-percent of the population has spherical aberrations.

Purevision lenses may be worn for up to 30 days continuous wear (day/night) based on how your eyes respond to lens wear and your eye care professional’s recommendation.
