Puissance (D/PWR/SPH)	Power is the strenght of your contact lens, and is a number between -25 and +25 (e.g. -1.50 or -1,75 or +1.00 or +2.50, etc.) Power is also called ”Pwr”, ”D”(diopters), ”Strenght” or ”SPH” (sphere) in the prescription or on the contact lens box. In your prescription, ”OS” = Your left eye and ”OD” = Your right eye. OU = Both eyes (your eyes have exactly the same parameter) --> If you are nearsighted (can see only near objects well) then select MINUS powers. --> If you are farsighted (can see only distant objects well) then select PLUS powers. Note, the power of the contact lenses is generally not the same power as in your eyeglass prescription.
Courbure (BC)	Base Curve (a number between 8.0 and 10.0). This is the inside curve of your contact lens (e.g., 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, etc.). Base Curve is often written as ”BC” or ”BOZR” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Many contact lenses come in only one base curve, many others in only two base curves, some come in multiple base curves so care must be taken when ordering. If your box or prescription says MEDIAN instead of a number for base curve choose 8.5, 8.6 or 8.7 only.	8.50	8.50	8.50

Cylindre (CYL)	Cylinder is a lens parameter for people that need correction for Astigmatism. Cylinder (a number between -4.00 and +4.00). This is the strenght of your astigmatism (e.g.,-0.75, -1.00, -1.25, etc.). Cylinder is often written as ”CYL” or ”ZYL” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Cylinder and Axis are usually separated by ”x” and read as ”times” (example: -0.75x160). The lenses that correct astigmatism are called ”TORIC” contact lenses.
Axe (Axis / AX)	Axis is a lens parameter for people that need correction for Astigmatism. Axis is number between 0 and 180 (note that 0 = the same as 180). This is the orientation of your astigmatism (e.g., 180, 160, 90, etc.). Axis is often written as ”AX” or ”X” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Cylinder and Axis are usually separated by ”x” and read as ”times” (example: -0.75x160). The lenses that correct astigmatism are called ”TORIC” contact lenses.

PRECISION1 for Astigmatism 90-pack are daily replacement contact lenses from Alcon that correct astigmatism, designed to provide lasting visual performance for patients who wear their contact lenses from early morning to late at night. PRECISION1 for Astigmatism have an 8|4 lens design to keep the lens perfectly positioned on your eye for stable vision. The Precision1 lenses uses a new silicone hydrogel material, verofilcon A.

PRECISION1 for Astigmatism is designed to be a mid-tier option between its Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus and Dailies Total1 lines of contact lenses. Based on the "DAILIES TOTAL1" contact lenses, Alcon created the PRECISION1 contact lenses with SMARTSURFACE Technology that delivers a permanent layer of moisture on the lens surface. This will help your contacts from drying out and your eyes feeling sore at the end of the day. The technology is similar to Dailies Total1, but involves a new manufacturing process which allows Alcon to produce contact lenses more quickly and cost efficiently.

These lenses have a microthin layer of moisture (~2-4 microns), that steps up from 51% water content at the core to greater than 80% at the outer surface of the lens.

Precision 1 lenses also have a Class 1 UV blocker protection.
