		Left (OS)	Right (OD)
Puissance (D/PWR/SPH)	Power is the strenght of your contact lens, and is a number between -25 and +25 (e.g. -1.50 or -1,75 or +1.00 or +2.50, etc.) Power is also called ”Pwr”, ”D”(diopters), ”Strenght” or ”SPH” (sphere) in the prescription or on the contact lens box. In your prescription, ”OS” = Your left eye and ”OD” = Your right eye. OU = Both eyes (your eyes have exactly the same parameter) --> If you are nearsighted (can see only near objects well) then select MINUS powers. --> If you are farsighted (can see only distant objects well) then select PLUS powers. Note, the power of the contact lenses is generally not the same power as in your eyeglass prescription.
Courbure (BC)	Base Curve (a number between 8.0 and 10.0). This is the inside curve of your contact lens (e.g., 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, etc.). Base Curve is often written as ”BC” or ”BOZR” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Many contact lenses come in only one base curve, many others in only two base curves, some come in multiple base curves so care must be taken when ordering. If your box or prescription says MEDIAN instead of a number for base curve choose 8.5, 8.6 or 8.7 only.
Cylindre (CYL)	Cylinder is a lens parameter for people that need correction for Astigmatism. Cylinder (a number between -4.00 and +4.00). This is the strenght of your astigmatism (e.g.,-0.75, -1.00, -1.25, etc.). Cylinder is often written as ”CYL” or ”ZYL” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Cylinder and Axis are usually separated by ”x” and read as ”times” (example: -0.75x160). The lenses that correct astigmatism are called ”TORIC” contact lenses.
Axe (Axis / AX)	Axis is a lens parameter for people that need correction for Astigmatism. Axis is number between 0 and 180 (note that 0 = the same as 180). This is the orientation of your astigmatism (e.g., 180, 160, 90, etc.). Axis is often written as ”AX” or ”X” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Cylinder and Axis are usually separated by ”x” and read as ”times” (example: -0.75x160). The lenses that correct astigmatism are called ”TORIC” contact lenses.

Menicon Niji Toric is a semi-individualized silicone hydrogel monthly disposable lens that correct astigmatism.

Available in a spectrum of parameters and crafted uniquely for each person, Menicon Niji offer a personalised soft contact lens experience.

These lenses are made from silicone hydrogel material, allowing optimal oxygen transmission for healthy, comfortable wear.
The high water content of 74% in combination with the highly gas-permeable lens material ensures the best comfort properties.

Menicon Niji Indications:
• When you need lenses outside the standard range of disposables
• Wide range of prescriptions: higher sphere or cylinder powers
• Wide range of HVID: large or small diameters
• Contact lens wearers not adequately addressed by current disposable lenses or RGPs
• Patients complaining of lens discomfort by high silicone content

Please note: Menicon Niji must not be cleaned with peroxide systems !
