Puissance (D/PWR/SPH)	Power is the strenght of your contact lens, and is a number between -25 and +25 (e.g. -1.50 or -1,75 or +1.00 or +2.50, etc.) Power is also called ”Pwr”, ”D”(diopters), ”Strenght” or ”SPH” (sphere) in the prescription or on the contact lens box. In your prescription, ”OS” = Your left eye and ”OD” = Your right eye. OU = Both eyes (your eyes have exactly the same parameter) --> If you are nearsighted (can see only near objects well) then select MINUS powers. --> If you are farsighted (can see only distant objects well) then select PLUS powers. Note, the power of the contact lenses is generally not the same power as in your eyeglass prescription.
Courbure (BC)	Base Curve (a number between 8.0 and 10.0). This is the inside curve of your contact lens (e.g., 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, etc.). Base Curve is often written as ”BC” or ”BOZR” in your prescription or on the contact lens box. Many contact lenses come in only one base curve, many others in only two base curves, some come in multiple base curves so care must be taken when ordering. If your box or prescription says MEDIAN instead of a number for base curve choose 8.5, 8.6 or 8.7 only.

The Swiss contact lens manufacturer SwissLens has acquired the Lunelle product portfolio from CooperVision, taking over the range from November 2020.

The lenses are made of the same material and with the same parameters available as before, only the container has been replaced (see product photo).

Lunelle ES 70 is a yearly replacement contact lens with UV-filter that help protect the cornea from harmful radiation.

These contact lenses are custom made for you, and available in a wide range of powers (-30.00 to +30.00), as well as many diameters and base curves.

Lunelle ES 70 lenses provide unsurpassed comfort, the high water content of 70% they provide and an excellent flow of oxygen. These lenses are resistant to protein and desposit buildups and are also scratch-resistant, providing for crisp and clear vision every day.

The ES70 material used for Lunelle contact lenses is composed of PMMA, which makes it robust and transparent, and PVP, which ensures a stable water content.

Lunelle ES 70 lenses also has UV-filter that protects your eyes from harmful radiation, but know that UV-absorbing contact lenses are not substitutes for sunglasses.

The Lunelle lenses are slightly tinted, so that they are easy to locate in tle lens case.
